This has got to be the coolest thing since sliced bread... okay well maybe not that cool, but to me it is. LOL... I know this radio DJ who used to be based out of Terre Haute, IN @ WZZQ... and he's now at WXRX 104.9FM in Rockford, IL. His name is Jim Stone. Very cool guy. I was in Terre Haute this weekend with the Diner Junkies (whom are friends of his) and he brought with him this tape of an interview he did this past Friday. The interview was with Nikki Sixx!!!! And he happened to mention the DJs in the interview which is why Jim brought it along, but anyways... I'm sitting there listening to this very cool interview with Nikki thinking about how much I would absolutely love to put it on my website for ALL Crue fans to enjoy... I asked Jim if I could copy it and use it and he said no problem, just take the tape and give it back to me later. YIPPPPIEEE!!!! :) I was ecstatic. So I've encoded it into Real Audio format for you guys. I hope ya'll enjoy it. The interview is about 14 minutes long. Nikki talks about a whole lot of stuff I'm sure you'll be interested in hearing. Here's the link: Sixx @ WXRX I'm incredibly late in reporting other Crue news... but as most of you know, the release of New Tattoo has been put off until July 11th. (and speaking of release dates... I believe Diet for a New America is going to be released tomorrow or maybe Tuesday...) Oh man, and I don't know the date (maybe today?!?!) but Vince and Heidi are FINALLY getting married. It seems like this has been going on forever and a day. hehe... Congrats to the two of them!!! Oh heck and I never even reported about Donna and Nikki finally having a baby together! SHEESH... I'm a little slow. Anyway, I believe she's due some time in December. Nikki is hoping for a girl. I hope they have a girl too. 3 boys is enough for anybody! :) I'm going to hopefully be updating my website little by little this week. I know alot of sections are outdated. I'll take care of it soon. If you need me... ya know where to reach me! :) And if you don't, that would be SixxRocksMyWorld@aol.com! |

Good grief!!!! I haven't updated this website since late December??? OMG... I apologize to all of you who are frequent visitors. I have found that when you run other websites for bands that definitely need updating, your own website tends to suffer from neglect. :( There's much happening in the Motley Crue camp and I am way behind on getting the news to all of ya. All the songs have been written for the new album and they start recording in just two weeks! The title is NEW TATTOO and of course, the coverart will be tattoo related. :) go figure. LOL Here's the song list: Dragstrip Superstar, Hollywood Ending, God Drives A UFO, Punched In The Teeth By Love, Treat Me Like The Dog I Am, Timebomb, American Zero, White Punks On Dope, 1st Band On The Moon, Hell On High Heels, Pornostar and I'm A Fake (Just Like You) Quite a collection of song titles. Tickets for Maximum Rock 2000 are supposedly going on sale soon, though I have yet to see or hear of any possible tour dates. Nothing listed at Ticket Nazi and nothing listed at Pollstar. So until further notice... there's no dates yet! :) More on Motley to come. Hair of the Dog is due to release their next album on April 4th. It is entitled RISE. I have to tell you that this CD absolutely rocks. My favorites are You Are The One, Twice, Hammered, I Can't Fight You, and Sometimes Is Enough. The rest of the songs rock too, but those are the ones that stick with me. The CD insert is supposed to have a 7 panel fold out and include complete lyrics. I can't wait!!! Also, be sure to check out their new and improved website at www.hotd.com Speaking of new and improved websites... I just revamped the Diner Junkies official website in time for the release of their first single off Stone's Place, entitled Put Me In Rehab. It hit radio on March 13th. I'm not sure on the *official* release date of Stone's Place, but it has been and still is available through their merchandise section on the website (www.dinerjunkies.com) Also, I've been busy keeping the L.A. Guns website up to date. They were planning on touring in April, but have instead opted to start recording their brand new album on March 27th working with a brand new management team. They hope to hit the road this summer on a tour package. L.A. Guns released a live album entitled "A Nite On The Strip," make sure you check it out. They also just finished up re-recording all of the songs on Cocked & Loaded so that they can re-release them on their own. The Poison/Cinderella/Dokken/Slaughter is due out this summer. Dates have been posted and I'll try to get them up on this site in the near future. Poison just released their "old" Crack a Smile album with some additional tracks for your listening pleasure. I'm not real sure if Slaughter or Dokken plan to release anything before the tour this summer. Maybe they have already... hell if I know. LOL... I really need to look into these things. Cinderella won't be releasing their new album until January 2001. Can you freaking believe that???? I cannot believe they are going to tour again without a new album released. The excuse is that Tom is busy "tweaking" the tunes. I love this band and think they are very talented and really dig their music, but this is ridiculous. :) Union is out on the road currently. Methods of Mayhem hits the road tonight. I haven't kept up on that project because I don't really care for the CD... but I'll see about getting some dates on the site for them. Other than that, I don't have much else yet. I'll hopefully have another update before too much time goes by!!!! PEACE OUT |
