And another note... if you haven't picked up L.A. Guns latest release, MAN IN THE MOON, yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. It's a killer album. I hope alot of you were able to see them perform the entire thing live on this Album Release Party tour. Wish I could have caught more than just the one show. I'll have to make up for it this summer when they hit the road with Faster Pussycat. :)

Also, get over to www.stevierachelle.com and pick up A History of Tuff. American Hair Band is a great song... it's worth the buy! :)

That's about it right now. I'm waiting on my copy of The Dirt that I pre-ordered ages ago from Amazon.com. Go figure my friend who pre-ordered it 5 days later than me already received notice that hers has been shipped and I haven't gotten squat. PHOOPY. Patience is not one of my strong points. LOL

May 10, 2001

Well, I'm off work today, so I thought I'd post a bit.

Latest Motley news is that Nikki and Donna have decided to work things out between themselves. That's a good thing. Whether it was a publicity stunt or not, doesn't matter to me. Just passing along the news. :) Here's a lil post from Sixx:

I WANTED TO TELL YOU ALL THAT ME AND MY SOUL LOVER ARE GONNA MAKE IT WORK.NIKKI AND DONNA.....ARE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER....WERE HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE AND CANT SHAKE IT.....WERE OFF ON A VACATION FOR A FEW DAYS.........WE GOT WORK TO DO,BUT WHAT THE HELL..IM SO EXCITED...I CANT WAIT TO MOVE BACK IN AN LIVE IN HARMONY....((AND CHAOS))

NIKKI,DONNA,GUNNER,RHYAN,STORM,DECKER AND FRANKIE-JEAN MARY SIXX

The Dirt is due out in 12 days... May 22nd. There's an in-store in LA at Tower Records - Nikki Sixx and Vince Neil from Motley Crue will be signing a tell-all autobiography about life in the Crue, Sunday, May 13, at 7 pm at Tower Records, W. Hollywood, CA (8801 Sunset Blvd.) And then I heard rumor of a NY book signing - but nothing confirmed. I believe they're also supposed to be on Stern.

RATT just wrapped up their tour in Europe. There's rumor of a tour to start in August with Lynch Mob and Thin Lizzy. Also there's talk of them working on a new album over the summer. Now THAT is something I'm definitely looking forward to.

So I'm sitting here listening to More Purple Than Black (Phil Lewis band) and I recommend ya'll pick it up. :) I went to see L.A. Guns last Thursday at the Hard Rock in Chicago. Well, first we went to Rolling Stone Records for the in-store and due to lovely Chicago traffic and construction, got there 15 minutes before they were wrapping up. LOL Oh well, at least I got to say hello. :) Phil said that there were about 50 people there for the in-store. Great news! We hung out with them for a lil while at the Hard Rock before they did their pre-show meet-n-greet. There was a good turn-out for that too. I haven't gotten my pix developed yet, but hopefully this weekend. There are some other current pix up on their website (www.lagunsweb.com) if you wanna check those out. The show itself was awesome. I've had the new album for a while now and to hear them play all the songs live, WOW! Scream is so much better live than I could have thought. And I also found a new love for Spider's Web. There's still a week or two left on this Album Release Party tour, so go check them out. Seriously. I wish I could have made it to more shows, but my schedule doesn't permit. They play the entire Man in the Moon album from front to back (well, minus Out of Sight... I'll spare a certain someone and not say why... LOL) and then they play 1 or 2 older tunes like Never Enough and Ballad of Jayne. We hung around after the show until about 3:30am. Had a great time! I love those guys. :) But I paid dearly for it the next day... hangover city. HAHAHA... Anyway, their summer tour with Faster Pussycat and Bullet Boys is due to kick off in late June. I haven't gotten my hands on the dates yet, but hope to soon.

April 23, 2001

Hot off the presses... I just found out that there's another tour brewing this summer! Vince Neil to tour with RATT (featuring Stephen Pearcy) - assuming his lawsuit ends in his favor - Slaughter and Vixen. I don't know when it's slotted to begin at this time, but I'll post information in the tour section as soon as I find out.

Skid Row's new album is due out in June to be followed by a tour. I don't know who their support act will be or if they'll be supporting anybody... but again, when I find out, I'll let ya know. I am SOOOOOO looking forward to their new album. I saw them last November and the show was killer. I would say this is my most highly anticipated album for 2001 so far... since I already own Man in the Moon by L.A. Guns. :)

Speaking of L.A. Guns, their album is due out tomorrow. I heard some lucky souls in California have already found it at Best Buy. They also launch their Album Release Party tour tomorrow too. I hear their Street Team has some really great contests going with prizes to give away... so you might want to sign up soon!

I believe RATT (featuring the rest of the guys in the band) still have touring plans this summer... none that I can release yet, but keep your eyes open for more info.

Anyone going to see Vince Neil at Joe's in Chicago this coming Saturday? I'm thinking about going. Email me if you are. :) I think that's about all I've got for ya right now. I've got to finish formatting the brand spanking new website for L.A. Guns. It'll be unveiled tonight at midnight. :) *P*E*A*C*E*

April 16, 2001

Just a little note from Nikki that was posted on their AOL message board. Apparently, the E!Online report was a false one... but this wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Either way, I'm of the opinion that it's no one's business but theirs - I'm just bringing ya whatever news comes my way. :)

HEY GUY AND GALS....HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL EASTER.....ME AND KIDS DID THE EASTER EGG HUNT THANG..AND HAD A FOOD FIGHT BY THE POOL((ICE CREAM AND REDI WHIP))..STORM TURNED SEVEN ON SUNDAY SO WE HAD ALITTLE B DAY PARTY FOR HER.....ITS ODD DOING IT ALONE....BUT IM TRYING TO BE PRESENT FOR EVERYTHING WHILE IM OFF THE ROAD AND GIVING MY LIFE SOME MEANING BESIDES WORK...

IT WAS REALLY UNCOOL OF E ONLINE TO REPORT THAT I FILED FOR DIVORCE AND AM SEEKING CUSTODY OF ME AND DONNS DAUGHTER..

THEY ARE 100% IN THE WRONG...

FIRST I HAVE NOT FILED.......WHETHER WE DO OR NOT ISNT THE ISSUE..THE ONE THAT SADDENS ME IS THAT I WOULD EVER SEEK TOTAL CUSTADY OF OUR DAUGHTER....DONNA IS THE BEST MOM ON THE PLANET...HAS BEEN TO MY KIDS AND IS TO RHY AND FRANKIE...WE WILL RAISE HER TOGETHER ..

DONT ASSUME......

LOVE AND ROCK N ROLL

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx filed for divorce April 13 from his wife, former Baywatch-er and Playmate Donna D'Errico, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had been married for four years when they separated in January--shortly after the birth of their first child. Sixx seeks legal and physical custody of their three-month-old daughter.

Just a lil something on The Dirt which is due out on May 22nd - Motley Crue Dish 'Dirt' in Upcoming Autobiography by Rob Kemp.

Also, I just received the remaining confirmed dates for L.A. Guns' Album Release Party Tour. They're posted in the TOURS section. Not much else going on right now. Nikki posted a crackhead message on the AOL board. LOL... sometimes I wonder about him. ;) Here it is, have fun making sense of it:

FORGET THE LIL PANGS THAT GO OFF IN YOUR STOMACH WHEN SOMEONE YOU KNOW((FAMOUS OR INFAMOUS)) IS FAALING OR BETTER YET GROWING........AND REMEMBER,ITS WHAT THEY'VE DONE THAT MAKE YOU FEEL WHAT THERE DOING.

STAY TRUE TO((ITS NOT MY WEEK TO BABY-SIT)) AND LIVE IT, BREATH IT..MAKE IT YOUR MANTRA.....

GET OVER YOUR SELF.......OR....PUT THE TOE IN THE TRIGGER...

EITHER WAY.....ITS GOOD ENTERTAINMENT....

April 9, 2001

Alrightie... so I drove the 1 1/2 hours to Lansing, IL last night to see TUFF and didn't even get lost! Those of you who blew off the show for other reasons, really missed out on a great night. It started out with a recorded intro of their new song, American Hair Band. I had heard about this one via the internet and didn't know what to expect... but it's really a great song. Ya find yourself singing it even though you barely know the lyrics. :) I've got the set list here and it looks like this:

GOD BLESS THIS MESS
SPIT LIKE THIS
------------------------------------------------------------
RUCK-A-PIT BRIDGE
IN DOGS WE TRUST
------------------------------------------------------------
NOT TELLING / LIKE A KID
------------------------------------------------------------
DON'T COMPLAIN
------------------------------------------------------------
LONLEY LUCY / GOOD GUYS
------------------------------------------------------------
DADDY'S MONEY
------------------------------------------------------------
SO MANY SEASONS
I HATE KISSING YOU GOODBYE
------------------------------------------------------------
TIED TO THE BELLS
THE ALL NEW GENERATION
------------------------------------------------------------
DEAD, JAIL OR ROCK N' ROLL
AMERICAN HAIR BAND

I have to admit, there's a lot of songs I didn't know, but then there were alot that I was surprised I knew. I really liked the song Don't Complain. I hadn't heard that one before. I loved that they played Dead, Jail or Rock n' Roll - I love Michael Monroe and Hanoi Rocks! And because I've only seen them once, I don't know if it was part of the bit or if Stevie really forgot the lyrics to I Hate Kissing You Goodbye, but it was actually really funny. They all looked great and sounded great... you guys gotta go check 'em out next time they're in town. I usually like to go to more than one show before reviewing, because ya always miss something. But there's not really any other shows in this area. Have to wait til next time. They're releasing a CD that I believe is called the History of TUFF and their new song, American Hair Band, will be on it. I snagged a poster off the door on my way out and didn't realize until I got home that it's an old one. Ah well, it's still cool and I'll add it to all my other concert collectibles. :)

Gotta go work some more on the L.A. Guns site. Finally received a copy of Man in the Moon and I've been listening to it all weekend. You guys are gonna love this CD. :)

April 7, 2001

Happy Birthday Flynn! :) hehe..

Just wanted to post that I've added dates to the Tours section for Mike Tramp. I'll be catching the one in Valparaiso, IN at the Silver Bullet. Mike has a new CD coming out including 14 tracks that are already recorded - of those 14, 11 or 12 might make the final cut. Possibly looking at a September release date. The new material is said to be in the same vein as Capricorn.

April 6, 2001

I've added some new dates to the Tours section for the L.A. Guns Record Release Party. I have more dates, but only through Detroit has been confirmed by management. Once I receive confirmation on the remaining dates, I'll post them ASAP.

I'm off to see Tuff in Lansing, IL on Sunday at J.J. Kelley's. I've added their tour dates to the website also. I'll post a review when I get back from the show.

L.A. Guns has also launched their street team! Visit their official site, www.lagunsweb.com, and follow the instructions in the pop-up window... SIGN UP NOW! :)

April 3, 2001

This site is going on 4 years old this year and I thought it was about time for yet another overhaul. Those of you who have been visiting cruemunity.com since it's inception (did I start this thing out on geocities or was it earthlink?) know that it started out as a fan-based Motley Crue website and just developed into much more than that over time. I've tried to make it an informative site about bands that peak my interest and hopefully yours too. But obviously, since I've taken on many other sites these past few years, it does make it difficult to keep cruemunity.com updated... all I can say is that I promise to do my best. :) On to the latest in updates:

Just a few notes to keep ya updated on the world of Motley... I haven't seen the Motley Funny Car yet, but I'm sure most of you have, they're adding the book cover (of The Dirt) to the hood of the car. That oughta be killer. I have had that book on pre-order for MONTHS now. It's all finished and waiting on approval for the cover art. Excellent... hopefully I'll get my copy real soon. It appears Vince is doing a solo tour. I'm having a real hard time finding any facts on this tour as far as actual dates go. I have heard that Slaughter is going to be opening for him and that he has a couple members of Union in the band... which I find interesting. :) Sixx says Mick is working on a solo blues/funk project. No clue when that might be heard. And he also commented that Tommy's new stuff sounds cool. Other than that, Randy is doing great, Sixx is keeping busy with his record label and we're not gonna hear anything from Motley for at least 18 months... I'm not real big on that last part, but it's their decision I suppose.

In other news... a street team is being assembled for L.A. Guns and information on how to join will be posted on their site shortly. L.A. Guns is going to launch their record release party in late April which will last approximately 4 weeks and cover 22 major cities across the US. Man in the Moon hits the shelves on April 24th. And starting around June 16th, they hit the road with Faster Pussycat. Yes, you read that correctly... Faster Pussycat has reunited with three original members (Taime Downe, Brent Muscat and Greg Steele). The rest of the band will consist of The Newlydeads. They'll be playing old FP songs, remixed FP songs and Newlydeads songs. Rumor has it this tour is supposed to cover the world over. Can't wait! :)

RATT is wrapping up their 4 date gig in Hawaii this weekend. They'll be headed over to Europe for a few weeks later this month. Before that though, we hope to have their official fan club back up and running full force. Hope being the key word there. :) As much as I'd love to hear some new music from this lineup, I have no idea what their musical plans are at this point. I'll see if I can weasel some more information out of anyone in the RATT camp.

Poison has a sneak peak of a new tune up at their website (poisonweb.com) for all to hear. I've listened to it and while it's not the most impressive tune in the world, it is good and I'd definitely like to hear more music along those lines. I'm a big Samantha 7 fan, I'd love to hear CC write some tunes like that for Poison... but uh, something tells me that won't happen. LOL Oh well, either way, they'll be on the road this summer with (I hope I get this right, cuz I'm not double checking...) Quiet Riot, Warrant and Enuff Z'Nuff. Dates have been released and are available at their official site.

A note to all you webmasters out there... if you're looking for affordable hosting for your domain, head on over to www.cfwebdesign.com and check out our hosting prices. You can search the net, but it'll be hard to find a better deal. :) Thanks again to everyone who continues to support this website. I'm gonna try to make a few changes around here now that the new LAG site is complete (it's not released yet though, so don't rush over there just yet. hehe) ~P*E*A*C*E~

March 7, 2001

Well the last real Motley related thing I heard was the breakup of Nikki and Donna.  I don't know what the story is behind it, nor is it any of my business.  I've also heard a bunch of rumours... one of them being that Mick has left the band.  Has he?  I have no idea.  Nobody has confirmed this.  About the only current real news that is Motley related that I've heard is that Mr. Corabi has been writing with Tommy... but since neither are still in Motley Crue anymore, I guess that's not really Motley related is it?  LOL  Something tells me we're not going to see any new music or a new tour out of Motley Crue this year which is a real bummer.  I've enjoyed their killer shows over the past few years.  Let's just keep our fingers crossed that everything works out for the best and we're still rockin' to Crue in the future.  :)

On February 14, 2001 we officially launched CF Webdesign as a full fledged business in web design and hosting.  Check us out on the web at www.cfwebdesign.com when you get a chance.  Our most recently acquired site is www.unionentertainmentgroup.com, a management company based in California.  They currently manage bands like Oleander, Nickelback and Racer X... plus MANY MORE, including Mr. John Corabi himself!  :)

I attended a couple Samantha 7 shows in February.  They really are a very entertaining band.  You've got to check out their music if you haven't already (www.samantha7.com).  CC mentioned that they were not touring for their first album anymore, but that he wanted to get into the studio and write some more.  I believe he is going to be touring with Poison this summer... there's been some proposed lineups, but I think the latest one includes Warrant.  That would be very cool... Poison/Warrant was my very first concert for each of them back in the day.  ;)

L.A. Guns is releasing their Man in the Moon CD on Spitfire Records this coming April 24th.  I've already heard the title song and it's very reminiscent of earlier LAG music.  Spitfire plans to also release a video and have the band tour extensively throughout this year after the release of their album.  Keep your eyes peeled on www.lagunsweb.com for further details.  I'm hopeful to have that site redesigned before the release of Man in the Moon.

I just recently went to about 4 more RATT shows... I know, you probably wonder WHY SO MANY?  LOL... believe me, I am ALL RATTED out at this point.  It's nice to get a chance to hang with the guys though.  It's the only time we get to visit since they all live over 2000 miles from here.  I saw them at Harpo's in Detroit at the end of February and in Battlecreek, MI the day after that.  The Harpo's gig left much to be desired crowd-wise, but it was pouring sleet that night, freezing cold and that joint is in the WORST part of town I could ever imagine.  Battlecreek kicked some major ass on the other hand.  Sold out show, rowdy crowd.  The place wasn't huge, but it always does the band good when the crowd gets into the show.  :)  Then the week after that... March 3rd I believe, we drove up to Amery, WI for their show at The Tac Nite Club.  For a club in the middle of nowhere, that place was packed... it took 15 minutes just to find a damned place to park.  We got there about 20 minutes before show time and hung out with Layla at the merch table all night.  The band drove straight on to Appleton that night (after the bus was invaded by Wisconsin-ites! hehe..) and we stayed the night and drove to Appleton, WI the next afternoon.  I love the Checkered Flag in Appleton.  Great venue!  We pulled into town around 4pm.  Corabi was already inside the venue trying to figure out if he could take a barstool racer for a spin around their indoor track (LOL... they were actually little motorized go-carts with barstools on them), he never did get to.  I helped their manager set up merch and offered to take over that job for the night.  OMG... my first time as a merch girl! hahaha... it wasn't so bad.  I still got to watch the show at least.  Speaking of which, RATT was right on that night.  Damn!  And the place was packed, and incredibly hot.  Everyone except for Elvis came out to sign autographs that night.  :)  We had a great time.  I'm gonna miss those guys.  RATT is heading over to Europe in late April to tour with Alice Cooper and Dio for a few weeks.  Then this summer, they've got a U.S. amphitheatre tour in the works.  So no more RATT for me until summertime.  And I just want to wish a quick CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! to John and Layla... they're getting married this Saturday, March 10th.  :)

My newest and latest email for those who don't have it ... MsWebRaven@aol.com, though most of you know I can be reached at about a zillion different places on the web.  LOL  I look forward to hearing from everyone and a big thanks to those who continue to visit this website.  You all rock!
~ Cherie ~

January 18, 2001

I went to see RATT on Saturday, January 13th, in Danville, IL.  This isn't the first time I had seen them since their new lineup with Jizzy Pearl and John Corabi, so I already knew the show was going to rock.  :)  The venue was totally sold out!  As I've heard all the shows have been on this tour so far.  They've added a couple different songs to their set.  I had the privilege of attending sound check while they worked on those songs.  What a fantastic show... if you guys haven't seen them already, quit wasting time!  The band looks and sounds phenomenal.  They've got dates all over the northeast coast right now and will be adding 3 more weeks of dates in February.  Check it out at www.therattpack.com.   I'm hoping at least one or two more will be in my near vicinity.  RATT is the greatest bunch of guys to hang out with... and that they've been doing.  So stick around for a bit after the shows. ;)  And if you're looking to buy Jizzy's book, check with him before or after a gig... I'm pretty sure he has them on the road with him.

I haven't heard anything at all on the Motley front.  No news from Nikki as of late, though he did post a new diary entry not too long ago.  I'm sure he's just enjoying his new baby girl to the extreme.  Who has time for the net? ;)

Who's on tour... Tesla is touring.  Great White and Samantha 7 will tour overseas.  Michael Monroe and Enuff z'Nuff are touring.  Of course, RATT is touring.  I've heard rumor that Poison will tour this summer, with who, I have no idea yet.  L.A. Guns is due to tour a bunch after their new CD is released on April 17th.  I'm hopeful that Skid Row will tour this year, but I haven't heard anything from their camp as to what's going on.  Last I heard, they were working on writing their new album, which is highly anticipated by me!

This Saturday I am off to see Bar 7 and then next weekend, two Samantha 7 shows.  I hope to fit a whole lot more concerts and road trips into my schedule in the near future.  Oh yeah, and look out for the launch of cfwebdesign.com within the next few weeks.  We're going full scale web design business and hosting.  Email me if you need details before then.  - Cherie -

IT'S A GIRL!!!! (wait... we already knew that. *smile*)  Donna gave birth to Frankie-Jean Sixx on January 2, 2001 at 10:29pm, weighing in at  8lbs. 12oz. and 21.5" long.  Way to go Donna!!!!  Wishing you both all the best!  ~Cherie

January 2, 2001
Word from Nikki as of 11:13pm (cst) last night (1/01) is that Donna has started contractions.  :)  WOOHOO!  Who can't help being excited for them?!?!  I would think that by this morning she has probably already had the baby or is REALLY close!  Does anyone out there know what they are naming her?  He hasn't let that bit of information leak out to me yet. LOL  Anyway, congrats to the Sixx family on their new addition.
