I received two new CDs in the mail today... Tommy Lee's Never A Dull Moment and Poison's Hollyweird. Only listened to Poison once so far, so can't really pass judgement. At least I wasn't left not wanting to listen to it again. LOL I'll jam Tommy's CD on my way to work tomorrow. I find I can pay more attention to music when I'm in my car. Dates through September have finally been posted for the Rockfest 2002 summer tour on RATT's, Jizzy's and L.A. Guns' websites. Speaking of L.A. Guns, their new CD is complete and due for release this fall (August or September, depends on who you ask.) It is titled WAKING THE DEAD and you can find the track listing at lagunsweb.com. Scotti updated his website again. He cracks me up. :) Make sure you swing by and check out his site at www.scottihill.com. Here's what I'm up to so far this summer: 6.18 - Milwaukee,
WI - Poison, Cinderella, Winger & Faster Pussycat I think that's about it for now. :) I was hoping for more Poison shows, but alas, that's not happening. I was just about to say I couldn't think of anything else to add, but I just did. My new plates came in the mail today for my Audi!!!! They say WEB RAVN. :) I'm a happy camper now. It only took like 3 FRIGGIN' MONTHS to receive them. Okay, I'm over and out... til next time. |

You have got to head over to www.scottihill.com and check out the MP3 of Thick is the Skin! He has a link to it right on the front page. And be sure to check out his updates under Submissions. He's a riot as usual. *grin* I so hope that this album does well for them because they deserve it! And the songs rock fiercely! I don't have a release date on the new album just yet, but if and when I find something out, I'll post it here. Until then, get over there, download the MP3 and enjoy. Went to see Spider-man last night. OMG, I loved that movie!!! The kids really liked it as well, you know there was plenty of action in it and swinging from buildings. Lots of computer effects, but they didn't notice that. It's a total chick flick love story kinda thing though. You know; boy loves girl, girl doesn't even realize boy exists, boy gets super powers, boy saves girl numerous times, girl falls in love with boy, boy decides he can't be with girl kinda story. It's totally set up for a sequel... in fact, I'd be willing to bet with the delay of the movie release, the sequel is already done. LOL Go see it, you'll love it. :) Okay, I'm outta here. It's Sunday and the weather is BEAUTIFUL. |

| Apparently
Nikki joined the AO-Hell Motley Forever chat last night (after I had already
left of course... LOL). But he did have a few things to say and thankfully
enough someone transcribed them onto the Motley board.
1. He has recently wrote a song for Faith Hill and may possibly be writing one for her husband, Tim McGraw 2. Nikki is working with MTV Films and Paramount films on the Motley Crue DIRT Movie. He said it will be for the big screen. Kinda like the Doors movie but more dirty. 3. Nikki is also thinking
beyond Motley Crue and possibly putting together a supergroup with him
playing bass. It could be old schools rockers or new rockers. He is up
for some suggestions. Lisa (Crueton) has two polls on her website; one
for choosing band members and one for choosing band names. 4. Sixx says he would like to tour in 2003 or 2004 with Vince, Mick and Tommy or he wont tour at all. 5. Nikki mentions
that he really digs Tommys new album. I'm sorry I missed the chat, but that's definitely some good info there. I'm all for a supergroup of some sort... I'd of course, love to see that happen with Tracii Guns. *grin* Maybe I'm biased, but that would friggin' rock would it not? :) |

Never did get that last updated posted on time. LOL The Gilby show was cancelled on us, but we did sneak in a Rob Zombie show at the Eagle's Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI on April 7th. His set is cool as all hell. 2 video screens on each side of an enormous devil-head drum riser. These huge demonoid people. If it wasn't for constantly being crushed and kicked in the head by crowd surfers, I probably could have enjoyed that show. Damn kids. We've made road trip plans to see Tesla, Vince Neil, Skid Row and Jackyl this summer at the Comstock Rock Festival in Nebraska. 11 hours there and 11 back, but it's a three day weekend of killer rock-n-roll. :) It's July 19th, 20th and 21st. You can check it out for yourself at comstockrock.com There's new stuff up on Jizzy's site now. And Nikki put a few more new pictures up at motley.com, check them out, they're adorable. :) We just recently finished a new website and took on a new one for Artists Worldwide. Haven't gotten any tour dates in for the Rockfest 2002 tour just yet. Waiting... waiting... blah. I do want to send my love and thoughts to the family and friends of Randy Castillo. Everything you read about him being the greatest, most sweetest person is true. I had the opportunity a couple summers ago of hanging out with him at various clubs in the city. He was nothing short of talkative, friendly and out-going. Randy will truly be missed. *love* |

| I guess
we're long overdue for an update eh? I've been a little pre-occupied... new job, new websites blah blah blah. I do, however, have some corrections to make to that tour info posted previously... Dokken - RATT - Warrant
- Firehouse - L.A. Guns I still don't have absolute confirmation on that Skid Row tour, but I've read it in various places and am really hoping it comes through. :) I haven't come across any other tour rumors as of yet. The Detroit road trip was a blast! My Audi's first trip. AWWWWW... Go figure it needed a major tune-up after that one. LOL Anyway... Sammy K's turned out to be a decent show. My first LAG show with Adam. I wasn't sure how he was going to fit in with the band (being the blonde one and all... heh) but he was great!!! And a really nice person, which is always a plus. :) I was sooooooo damned tired that night and Flynn would not even go around and get the car for me when we were ready to leave. FOR SHAME. But the very nice bus driver (I think his name was Phil... I'm pretty sure) was kind enough to drive around the front of the venue and right up next to my car! YEA! Hehe... It's the little things in life. The morning after Sammy K's we left for Detroit... actually probably more like just after noon. We got there in the early evening, met up with a friend and checked into our hotel room. What can you say about Harpo's that hasn't been said before? LOL Actually, I have to say that I have never seen Harpo's as packed as it was that night. I mean, it's been full before, but this place was FULL. I only bothered watching L.A. Guns. I've never really been into Firehouse and I'm not as much of the Warrant fan as I used to be back in the day. LAG put on a good set, even if Phil did mess up Ballad of Jayne like a zillion times. *grin* He's maybe got a line or two out of place in the past, but they started over like three times. HEHE... We hung out afterwards until maybe 3am? I can't remember honestly. It was past my bedtime, that's all I know. Maybe it was earlier than that because we did stop at Denny's before going back to the hotel. And while there we laughed REALLY HARD about absolutely nothing as only best friends can do. And we weren't even drinking that night! The drive home on Saturday left much to be desired... first rain through Michigan, then sleet / rain through Indiana, and then once we hit Chicago, that's when the snow hit. OMG, snow!!! It was hideous. And it made me decide that I need different tires on my car before next winter. BLAH. Next show coming up is Gilby Clarke at Sammy K's on Friday, April 19th. It's a slow start to my year in concerts, but I'm hoping with everything going on this summer, I can make up for lost time. :) Anywho, no news on any new albums as of yet. I've "heard" that Cinderella should have a new one before summer, and did I hear right that Poison is supposed to as well? I know Skid Row has been working on theirs for some time now, but have no tentative release date. What's up with these bands? I want new music damnit. ;) Jizzypearl.com will have new tunes in the near future. He just sent me a couple CDs to add to his site, and hopefully those will go live this week. I think he's heading off to Europe very soon for the Love/Hate tour. I was just taking some time to peruse Motley.com. My friend had told me Nikki had a couple new pictures up there, so I went to check it out. The one of him and Frankie is adorable. :) Then I started reading some old diary posts... man I can't believe I was SO behind! Sometimes life just takes over and you don't have time to keep up with all the things you love. I needed a good laugh this morning (trying to give up coffee again and it's so far just making me fiend for it!) Alright, I'll be back when I've got more news or hell, just more to say. PEACE. |

The summer of 2002 is going to be one helluva busy summer with all the tours being put together right now. OMG! Check out what I have so far:
I have info on the Poison tour, but last I was told, it hasn't been officially announced yet, so until it is, my lips are zipped. But I can tell you that it is totally going to rock! :) Bands I would like to see get some sort of tour together: Hair of the Dog I've read rumor of Danger Danger doing a tour... possibly with TUFF?!?! I don't know whether that is true or not, but I'll take what I can get. :) Oh, and Love/Hate (well, Jizzy Pearl and some other musicians) will be going over to Europe soon for some Love/Hate shows. Wish I could be there! First road trip of the year is coming up next week. February 28th at Sammy K's in Elgin, IL - L.A. Guns. And then March 1st at Harpo's in Detroit - L.A. Guns, Warrant and Firehouse. Been some time since I've seen them last, so I'm looking forward to it. :) I made a list of all the concerts/road trips I've been to since I started this website. I haven't tallied up the miles yet, but damn, that's alot of shows: |

RATT won big time in court yesterday in the seemingly never-ending battle over the RATT name. The transcript of the official press release is being published all over the internet, so I figured I might as well put it here too. :) RATT lead guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer won the battle over ownership of the name "RATT" in a landslide court victory in the Lost Angeles Superior Court on February 6, 2002. Judge David Workman dismissed former lead singer Stephen Pearcy's claims for trademark infringement, unfair competition, defamation, misappropriation of corporate assets and breach of fiduciary duty, and held that Pearcy was in fact engaging in unfair competition against his former bandmates by using the trademark in connection with his unauthorized RATT tour. The Court ruled that Pearcy's claims were meritless because WBS, Inc., RATT's touring entity, is the sole and exclusive owner of the RATT trademarks. The Court further ruled that Pearcy has engaged in unfair competition by continuing to tour, without authorization, as "RATT featuring Stephen Pearcy" after he left the band. An injunction requiring Pearcy to cease and desist from using the RATT trademarks and an order requiring him to turn over the profits earned from his unauthorized RATT tour are forthcoming. RATT's attorney, Kyle P. Kelley from Beverly Hills, CA said "My clients are delighted with the Court's ruling. The Court determined that the allegations against DeMartini and Blotzer were meritless and unsupported by evidence, and in fact, Pearcy was guilty of unfair competition. DeMartini and Blotzer will protect their trademark rights and will vigorously pursue anyone who books an unauthorized RATT concert." The trial on RATT's cross-complaint against Pearcy is scheduled for March 11, 2002. RATT's current line-up consists of DeMartini and Blotzer, fronted by Jizzy Pearl (Love/Hate), with guitarist John Corabi (Motley Crue) and Robbie Crane on bass. RATT will resume touring on February 27, 2002 at the Key Club in Los Angeles, California. Future tour dates can be found at the band's official web site, www.therattpack.com. |

Ooooo a brand new year and I waited 15 days to update my site. I hate when that happens. It's been a busy end of 2001 and beginning of 2002. I received a nifty Sony Digital Camera for Christmas and hope to put it to good use on this website in the near future. But first, I have other things of greater importance to take care of... We're going to be redesigning unionentertainmentgroup.com in the near future. I'm also putting together a website for my son's Cub Scout Pack. Plus I'm on the Pack's committee, so I've been busy with that... In music news... SupercoolRockandRoll.com has received a recent renovation. We've put up new pictures, as well as the cover art for their EP that is now available via their website. Hopes are that it will be available soon through CDnow.com and Amazon.com. We also should have some sound clips available on the website in the near future. FYI for those who are unaware, the band consists of Eric Stacy, Stacey Blades, Lantz L'Amour and Vik Foxx. Therattpack.com recently received a chat room, which people are finally beginning to make use of. Please feel free to stop on by. RATT will probably not be touring until June 2002. Last I heard there was a pretty cool package lined up for a summer tour. Haven't heard anything recently as Bobby took off to Connecticut to record his solo album with John Corabi. He has promised to call me soon and play some of the tunes over the phone. I'll let ya know how it sounds. :) RATT also has 3 dates next week which can be found in the TOUR section of their website. L.A. Guns will not be releasing their album until September 2002. Yes, that is a long wait. But I'm sure it'll be worth it. It better be worth it. LOL According to the band, it's supposed to be a really guitar driven metal record. Guess we'll see, eh? In the mean time, L.A. Guns has 2 weeks of west coast dates at the end of this month to make up for the time they were stranded in Alaska the week of 9/11. Also, last I heard, they will be on a package tour being put together for this summer. A chat has also been implemented on LAG's website. Feel free to download IRC and stop on by. Scotti hasn't updated his site since my last update, so I guess I can't really rag on him for not updating his site. LOL I have heard through the grapevine (well, actually from a direct source) that Skid Row definitely will be touring this year. That makes me VERY happy. :) I am so anxious for them to finish that new album so I can hear the entire thing already... yea yea we got some new songs live, but I want that CD in my hands to play whenever I damn well please. *GRIN* In further RATT related news, well kinda, Jizzy Pearl sent in a video for his website. It is from 1992 when he hung himself on a cross pinned to the Y in the Hollywood sign. The video is a riot. Channel 7 news covered the entire thing. You've gotta get over to jizzypearl.com and check it out. Jizz also promises to send me unreleased Love/Hate songs and other goodies to put up on the site in the near future. Stay tuned... I can't think of anything else musically related off the top of my head that is worth posting here... I did get a new car recently. Well an old new car. It's a 1986 Audi 5000S Elongated Hatchback. In MINT condition, I might add. Other than that, same ol' same ol. No new shows to attend, so until then... |
