Okay something really exciting IS going to happen! We are planning a trip to New York for three L.A. Guns shows in February. And that's not all! Two friends of mine from Germany are flying in for these shows as well. It's their first trip to the US and our first trip to New York. I'm so excited! I've been plotting and planning what airport is the best deal to fly into, what hotel to stay at, what kind of rental car to get. I love planning trips. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Mine was pretty good. Santa gave me Season One and Two of Buffy on DVD and a new coffee maker, and this sterling silver dolphin bracelet. I also got a space age looking new toaster (I love it!) and this curling iron that is split down the center to make straightening my hair easier. I already burnt my lil finger on it. My employer gave me a $100.00 gift certificate with which I ordered Season Three of Buffy on DVD, bought a food processor and a new blender. I also received a $25.00 gift certificate from our brokerage firm to Bed, Bath & Beyond - which I haven't spent yet. My boss gave me a kitty cat picture frame, a kitty ornament for my tree that you can put a picture in, a sweatshirt with three cute kitties on it (see the pattern here? LOL), a snowman ornament and a candleholder, a watch, and a matching necklace and bracelet with the ying yang symbol on it. My son bought me some nature scented incense (plus he gave me a luck charm bracelet for my bday). I got a glass curio cabinet from my brother. Two large coffee mugs from my mom and her sister, as well as a sweater and some comfy jammie pants, and some fruity scented candles. My best friend bought me a huge bag of chewy Spree, the soundtrack to the Buffy musical - Once More With Feeling, and some musical note ornaments for my tree. And just about everyone got me gift certificates for Hair I Am Salon so I can get my hair cut and highlighted. I had it done on Saturday and it looks awesome! I love it. :) :happy dance: Welp, other than today
being my son's 11th birthday, there's not much else going on since my
last entry. |

| Whoa...
no updates since July. *cringes* It is so difficult to have my own website
when I've got so much going on and no time to update it. I've considered
a few times just canning it altogether, but then where would I be able to
babble on when I did have time?! So it stays. :)
Well. Rewinding back to July 30th, we saw Faster Pussycat at The Elbo Room in Chicago. It was a spur of the moment show. When we were up in Michigan for the LAG/RATT show, FP was there and Brent invited us down to the show. I wasn't feeling so hot that night, so we stayed for the show and that was it. I really enjoy this new updated version of FP. I know a lot of people do not. But hell if I care about what others think. HAHA On August 11th, we saw Cinderella and Faster Pussycat play at the Silver Slipper in Ottawa, IL. THAT was a really fun show. And a reminder that I get drunk way too easily. LOL But hey, it's not all the time, so I guess I'm entitled. August 18th. L.A. Guns/RATT at Kitts Korner in Madison, WI. We got up there really early and were hanging around in the parking lot while the buses pulled in. After a few minutes of standing outside LAG's bus, the driver steps off and asks us to come in. (Now this is so totally cool and Tracii friggin' totally rocks... read on) I get on the bus and Tracii gives me a hug and then hands me his cell phone saying that somebody wants to talk to me. So I take the phone. "Hello?" The voice on the other end says "Can you believe this guy wants me to be in a band with him and he admits that he's gay?" OMFG!!!!!!!!! :breathe, breathe, breathe: After sitting down, I said "Yeah, but everybody knows that. It's no secret." HEHEHE... He laughs and says "This is Nikki." And I replied with "I figured that out already." DUH... SLAPS SELF IN HEAD. Then he says "Is he lighting up a cigarette?" and Tracii was. Scary that he knew that. And then he asked me if Tracii was getting fat. HAHAHAHA... He said "I have an excuse, I've been sitting around the house on my ass. He's been out on tour." I'm like "Please, you are not fat." And I cannot believe I am even having this conversation. We talked about some other things that just skip my mind right now, but he ended the convo with "Well, I just wanted to say hey." and hell I can't even remember what I might have said after that. I handed the phone back to Tracii and was pretty much just in shock. I immediately called my best friend to tell her what happened, but got her answering machine. ARGH! Tracii said "Don't you hate that? You're all excited and want to share something, but nobody is home." So the rest of the night I was telling everyone I could "I talked to Nikki today!" HAHAHA... I'm such a dork. But it was very cool. :) Tracii rulz. I thanked Tracii for not telling me who was on the phone when he handed it to me because I would have had a heart attack, and he said that's exactly why he didn't. I ran into Jizzy later on and told him all about it. I'm sure he was wowed. HAHA... that's when he told me that he wanted me to do the pictures for Molefest after the show. Um, yea fun. Something to look forward to. LOL Jizzy rulz too, so I did what any good webraven would do... :cringe: On with the show... L.A. Guns was awesome. We were right up front for the show. Phil let me pick a song on the setlist before the show, so I got to hear Psychopathic Eyes live and I loved it!!! We watched RATT from the side of the stage. They were great! I love watching them live. :) After the show there was much to do about drinking. A fantabulous time was had by all and I cannot elaborate any further. HAHAHA... Oh wait, there is one thing I can elaborate on. This girl (the airline stewardess with the hurt leg.. I can't remember her name for the life of me) lost her keys. Keff and Robbie hotwired her truck and rigged the computer so that it would stay running. OMG! Those guys are amazing. I wish I had taken pictures, it was a Kodak moment. I think we actually drove home that night after the show... or rather Flynn drove home. I don't really recall arriving at home. LOL That was my last show of the summer and a great one it was! In September, my son decided he wanted to play bass guitar. So I bought him a nifty Kramer bass and an amp. He's been taking lessons since and is really doing great! I'm so proud. :) In October we learned that Tracii was taking a leave of absence from L.A. Guns to work on Brides of Destruction with Nikki, John, London and Scot (their new drummer). This caused quite an uproar in the LAG camp. But life went on. L.A. Guns has temporarily replaced Tracii with Keri Kelli... whom actually we just saw with L.A. Guns in Lemont, IL on December 7th at a club called Sean Kaley's. Pretty nice place. Not too far away. I'd definitely go there again. I took pictures and put them on the LAG site. They sounded phenomenal with Keri and Brent on guitars. WOW! I had a chance to hang out for a short bit and talk with them afterwards. Seems everyone is doing great and having fun. :) Speaking of Brides of Destruction... apparently Corabi has departed RATT to focus on BOD as well. They just played out their first 2 shows this past weekend. I so wish I could have been there. :whimpers: I had heard rumor of them playing a NYE show in Chicago, but Nikki apologized and said that it was not going to happen. But that they are doing a 7-10 date run in late January/February. Of course I eagerly asked if any of those dates were Midwestish, but apparently they are all West Coastish. ARGH! Guess I'm going to be doing a bit of traveling next year eh? Hehe... I have got to see BOD live!!!! It's a must! At some point during the past 3 months, we ended up with Traciiguns.net in our laps. There was some disagreement over hosting fees or what have you. I offered up hosting for the site, my offer was shot down and the website given up on. *shrugs* So we put up a message board for now. I have an idea of what I want to do with the site, but of course Mr. Guns wants it all flashy and fancy pants, so I had to get Flynn involved because I don't have the patience for flashy and fancy pants. LOL It's coming together. I don't know how soon we'll go live with it. The holidays slow everything down. Speaking of the holidays... anyone wants some nice not-satanic cats? I put my Christmas tree up just after Thanksgiving. Now we've had problems in the past, so we have this nifty little tree stand that rotates, right? It's supposed to deter the cats from climbing the tree. So they wisely took the end of the garland, got it caught on the stand, wound around the stand, knocking off various ornaments until it stopped turning, then they climbed the tree and nested on the smaller branches about 6.5 feet up. Can you friggin' believe these animals??!?! Spawn of Satan!!!! Over the course of a week they just destroyed my poor Christmas tree. I came home one day, looked at my pathetic looking tree in dismay and started cussing loudly at all of the cats. I screamed "Can't I just have a fucking Christmas tree? What is wrong with you guys?!?!" They put their ears back and sulked away. I took the entire thing down last weekend and put it back together and re-decorated it. The next morning, they had one of the large lower branches in the kitchen. After putting that back on though, they seem to have chosen to stay out of the tree. Merry Christmas. LOL I take that back, I just found Peapod nesting about 6 feet up in the tree. ARGGH!!!!!!!! Stupid cats. Now the branches are all flat again. So, anyone want any non-satanic cats for Christmas presents? Email me. *grin* I guess I'll probably be back with another update in, oh, say 6 months? Unless something really exciting happens between now and then. Doesn't seem very likely... does it. |

OMG, where on earth have I been since May? *glances at tour schedule* Oh, nevermind. LOL This weekend is my last road trip for the summer... well so far as I can tell anyway. I should have time to finally stop and live. :) Let's recap the shows I've attended thus far... I'll warn you now, this could get VERY long: 6.18 - Milwaukee,
WI - Poison, Cinderella, Winger & Faster Pussycat I think this was by far the best Poison performance I have seen since they started touring again. But let's start from the start... Faster Pussycat. I think I enjoyed them more last year when they toured with L.A. Guns. But that could be because it was a nice upclose club setting. I hate arenas when your seats are way out way out ya know? Winger... I've never really been a fan of theirs, but I think for what they are, they put on a really good show. A bit too many slow songs. Usually Cinderella completely blows everyone off the stage, but I dunno, their set was missing something this time around. I mean, of course, I enjoyed their show and their songs are great as usual, but something was not there. What was there was the snow and grand piano during Don't Know What You've Got. Now THAT was cool. Haven't seen that since my very first Cinderella show eons ago at Poplar Creek (which doesn't even exist anymore) Poison played 3 of their new songs (one being a cover). I love their new album, it really is awesome. And I was so thrilled that CC played Emperor's New Clothes that I about jumped outta my skin. HAHA I brought my son to this show. He's a big Poison fan. He knew alot of the songs they played and sang right along with them! It was great. :) I'm a proud mom. 6.21 - Pecatonica, IL - Tesla, Vince Neil, Jackyl & Skid Row This show was cancelled on us supposedly because Tesla's equipment bus broke down, but I've since heard it might have been a problem with the promoter. 6.22 - Wausau, WI - Tesla, Vince Neil, Jackyl & Skid Row This show was in the middle of a friggin field. It had rained like a million inches of rain that day. So you can imagine. I only bothered watching Skid Row from right up front because they always friggin' rock like you wouldn't believe. I know we checked out the other bands (except Jackyl, who wants to see Jackyl??) from side stage. I know I drank too much and the sun/heat helped my drunken stupor right along. LOL We had a good time hanging out though and I can't even remember what time I stumbled back to my car through the muddy field where the great big tractor was yanking people out of their muddy parking spaces left and right. Flynn and Teresa got back to the car some time later. They attempted to remove it from the spot, but managed to dig the car into the mud. The great big tractor came up behind us and pushed and shoved us right out the exit. I'm thinking "OMFG, IF THIS THING DAMAGES MY AUDI I WILL HAVE A FIT!" An Audi. An Audi being pushed around by a John Deere through a vast mud pit. Can you imagine? LMFAO Aside from being caked in mud, my car only had a few scrapes on the plastic part of my bumper from the tractor tires. No big. 6.28 - Chicago, IL - Nickelback I went to this one mainly because my best friend is a huge Nickelback fan and needed someone to go with her. The opening band, local Chicago Lovehammers, were really good. The bassist was playing a Nikki Sixx Blackbird bass and had WW6DO? on his tshirt. LOL An obvious fan! Epidemic was on this bill as well. They were alright. Not really my kind of music, but tolerable. Jerry Cantrell I didn't care for in the least. I was right up front with my friend, but after his set nearly put me to sleep and the exhaustion from the heat of that place, I bailed. We watched Nickelback from the side by the bar. They put on a pretty good show and I actually knew some of the songs which is always a plus. :) 6.30 - Milwaukee, WI - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Brian Setzer Oooooo Tom Petty. I love Tom Petty. I have been a Tom Petty fan forever and a day. We spent the day at Summerfest in million degree weather which I will never repeat. I brought my son to this show. He knows alot of Petty songs since I play them all the time in the car. LOL This was my first time seeing Brian Setzer. I loved his show! Very up beat. Tom Petty played for 2 hours and 15 minutes (I believe) and he played alot of tunes that I didn't even think I'd ever hear live... Like Here Comes My Girl. It was a long set for the kids, but they stuck it out without complaining. :) 7.03 - Elgin, IL - Dokken, RATT, Warrant, Firehouse & L.A. Guns An outdoor gig at Sammy K's. Unusual? Yes. Across from McDonald's? Yes. LOL What a strange place for a show such as this one. Anywho, my first LAG show this summer. Phil comes out in a skirt. Oh wait, I mean, a kilt. They always put on a great show. However I always make the mistake of standing in front of Tracii (because he's just so entertaining) but his guitar just blows me away and I can hardly hear anything else. They played at least one new song that I was aware of, Revolution. There might have been another. Their set was not very long. Adam and Keff seem to fit into the band very nicely. I didn't watch Firehouse. I went to McDonald's to eat instead. Or wait, was that during Warrant? Either way, I didn't watch those bands. LOL (Editor's Note: I was just rereading this for accuracy, after I uploaded of course, and realized that the reason I was at Mickey D's during Warrant instead of Firehouse is because FIREHOUSE WASN'T THERE! Enuff Z'Nuff or part of EZN anyway, opened before LAG) I did watch RATT however. I could NEVER miss a RATT show. I love those guys, every one of 'em. :) They put on a fantastic show as always. I cannot remember set lists, so don't even ask me. Oh, and Jizzy finally got some new clothes. BRAVO! *hehe* 7.05 - Milwaukee, WI - Mellencamp Ah, my first Mellencamp show ever. I'm not a huge fan, but I do like alot of his songs. I started out the show counting how many songs I actually knew, but he played so many, that I counted the ones I did not know, which amounted to about 4 of them. Very clean stage, not cluttered with equipment. He had a 9 piece band with him altogether. They played very well. The violinist was awesome! I'd go see him again. :) 7.07 - Freeport, IL - Dokken, RATT, Warrant, Firehouse & L.A. Guns Look at that, another show that was canned on my ass. How fair is this I tell you?! 7.08 - Chicago, IL - Tommy Lee OMG, you guys have GOT to go see Tommy Lee when he comes to your town!!! I had the new CD, I liked probably about the first half of it and maybe 2 songs toward the end. I didn't care for the MOM cd he released prior. But I have to tell you, when you see the songs performed live, it's a whole different experience. I didn't think it was odd at all to see Tommy as a frontman with guitar in hand. He can really work a crowd and he puts on a great performance. I loved the show! The one thing that did make me cringe, and no offense to Tommy whatsoever, I couldn't stand hearing him *sing* Shout at the Devil. While I love what he did with it musically, his voice just couldn't cut that song for me. I also heard later that he had teleprompters on stage with the lyrics to the song. LOL Um, Tommy, you've been hearing that song for how many years now? ;) Tis okay, I don't know all the damn lyrics either. Just that SHOUT SHOUT SHOUT part. HAHA 7.13 - Clarkston, MI - Tesla, Vince Neil, Jackyl & Skid Row Yet another fantastic performance by Skid Fucking Row. I think that's their middle name. ;) I met up with my new friend, Scoobz, at this one. Hopefully didn't bore her to death... must not have because she's meeting up with us again this weekend. Anywho, after Skid Row we played the waiting game and then went to hang out for a bit backstage so we could say hi to the guys. Almost had a chance to meet Vince, but that guy is very fleet footed and he got away just in the nick of time. We actually left the venue by 9:15pm, went out to eat, and were asleep around Midnight. Why you ask? Because my ass had to be up at 6am to make the trek out to Ottawa, IL to see RATT and L.A. Guns the next day. Speaking of which... 7.14 - Chicago Hts., IL - Tesla, Vince Neil, Jackyl & Skid Row We opted not to go to this show. Despite my undying love for Skid Row, I really truly hate the Oasis 160 club. VIP area my friggin ass. So we drove out to the Silver Slipper Saloon in Ottawa, IL to see RATT and L.A. Guns instead. It was sunny and hot and I drank alot. (hey that rhymed) L.A. Guns did a great show that night. They played Don't Look at Me That Way and Revolution. I had their new album already by this time. Promo copy from Spitfire, don't jump down my throat about illegal copies. And it has not been out of my cd player since. I absolutely love this album. I will elaborate more on that later. After LAG, I suffered through some Firehouse songs for a friend of mine. *grin* I'm gonna lose points for that one, I know it. And I think, *think* being the key word here, that we might have watched some of Warrant's set. At some point, we ran into Phil (Lewis that is) and hung out with him. He was obviously tanked and so was I. LOL Anyone who saw us dancing on stage during RATT's set, I plead, um, I plead... uh, is there one for drunkeness? Insanity? State of Intoxication? LOL Had a great time. RATT sounded awesome. We really enjoyed the show. Afterwards we ended up at the Silver Slipper next door until about Midnight. By then my happy intoxication was wearing off and the "OMG, my head is pounding, my eyes are burning out, I have to work at 7am" kicked in. So we left. 7.19 - Comstock,
NE - Tesla, Vince Neil, Jackyl & Skid Row Here's where it gets rather lengthy... I've only finished typing up Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So I will post that now and then when I finished Sunday and Monday, I will update with that. Take time to read it, it's friggin hilarious. We had a great time. Grasshoppers and all. Here ya go: Thursday: Teresa and Al pulled up about 30 minutes late at my house in a Ford Expedition. I was expecting a Suburban, right? So I nearly had a heart attack because we had SO MUCH stuff to fit into this truck that was now 2 feet shorter than expected. *panic sets in* Turns out the people who had rented the Suburban we were supposed to pick up, called the rental place and told them they were keeping it longer. GEE THANKS! Jason (Flynn's brother) didn't show up until 8:15pm. No biggie though because we certainly were not finished packing. LOL He helped us pack the rest of the stuff onto and into the truck. So we leave... and decide we should probably stop and eat first. So we eat. We didn't ACTUALLY start our road trip until 10:10pm. Of course we passed our exit for I-88 and ended up taking the long way to I-80, which also so happened to have a ton of construction. We came to a screeching halt for the construction traffic and Al put the truck's hazard lights on. Jason asks him why he did that and Al said so that people will see that we're stopped and stop also. No sooner than he had said that, *BAM*, someone totally rammed the car right behind us. Thankfully enough, they didn't hit us. *phew* People were laughing at us because we took window chalk paint and on the back window it said "THE MOTHER OF MOST ROAD TRIPS" the left side rear window had a skull smoking a, um, cigarette, yeah that's it, and 2002 on it, and the right rear side window said "DESTINATION: NEBRASKA" People were pulling up next to us and saying "What is in Nebraska?!?!" We even handed out a Schedule of Events flyer through the window. LOL! Friday: We arrive around 12:30pm.
It took longer than expected due to several stops and the fascination
with the "WORLD'S LARGEST TRUCK STOP" which we just had to stop
at. You could probably build a truck in there. Anywho, we all hop out
of our nice air conditioned truck into 104 degree weather. OMFG it was
so damned hot there. Hell probably isn't even that hot! We nearly passed
out from heat exhaustion on several occasions while trying to set up camp.
We managed though. Skid Row was supposed to go on at 4pm, so Teresa, Al
and I grabbed lots of water and started walking to the stage area (500
yards away). Flynn and Jason went to shower and said they would meet us
there. Teresa nearly passed out on the way from the stupid heat. We had
to go sit with some other campers who offered shade to us, and ice water.
I thought for sure we'd miss Skid Row's show, but hey, my friend's life
is way more important. Al went back to get the truck and drive us the
rest of the way. Al pulls up and I hopped into the truck. Teresa was about
to hop in when she saw Scotti cruising by on a golf cart with an employee.
She hollers out to him "Scotti!! Hey, Cherie's in here!" LOL
She wasn't sure he'd recognize her. So she opened the door for me and
I hopped out. We talked to him for a few minutes. He said they were not
going on until 5:30pm. AWESOME! We wouldn't miss anything then. We managed
to snake front row right by Scotti for their show. It was perfect. They
put on a killer show too and the crowd totally loved them! They only did
their normal set though because of the heat and I really can't blame them.
All those bands were real troopers for playing in that heat to begin with.
They were the only band I bothered to watch that night. It was too friggin'
hot for me. We went back to camp, ate, rested up a bit and then the drinking
started. LOL All of our neighbors were so cool too. It was just one big
friggin' party. Since Jason wore the sign we made him "SINGLE. LOOKING
TO GET LAID" the ENTIRE campground knew him as Single Guy. They'd
yell "HEY! IT'S SINGLE GUY!" whenever they'd see him all weekend
long. It was so hilarious. And when they saw Flynn, it was "Hey,
it's single guy's brother!" LOL And the other on-going joke was that
Jason was "walking the dog". It started at my house on Thursday
night. He was in our garage back by our dog, um, we'll say having a smoke
and he kept saying "don't mind me, I'm just checking on the dog"
etc. etc. Teresa asked where he was because we were ready to go and I
said "Oh, he's just walking the dog" LMFAO ...that dog was WELL
exercised by Monday night. haha Since in Nebraska
it's already 90+ degrees outside by 7am, I woke up pretty early. Flynn
and I headed off to the "jacuzzi" they had found the day before...
which is actually a little stream hidden back in the field where no campers
were. Very nice when you're hot, sweaty and it's a million degrees outside.
Then we came back and I made breakfast for those interested in eating.
We originally had plans to see quite a few bands play, but the heat deterred
us. So we sat by our little sun tent (Flynn's Sun Tent) and made sure
our camp didn't blow away due to the incredibly high ( and dusty! ) winds
that had picked up. Some of the many grasshoppers hung out with us, I
was ready to start naming them. Jason had collected bones on his little
excursion into the field Friday and he now had them spread out all around
his tent. Mojo you know. They were scaring people. LOL People would walk
by and go "Oh my god, look at that." Or if someone would rudely
trek right through the middle of our camp, I'd yell after them "See
those bones? Those were the last people who came through here!" and
when Phil and Tony's Ice Cream Truck came by and tried to sell us ice
cream, I told them that those were the bones of the last people who tried
to sell us ice cream. It worked out pretty well actually. HEHE Jason was
constantly hitting on our other neighbor's wife, Gina. Coincidentally,
her husband's name was Jason too and yes, he was there with her. I believe
Saturday was the day that Al took off with the truck to take a shower
and came back 4 hours later. He left with a good part of our food supplies,
so we had to get creative with lunch. *trying to think of what else we
did this day* We listened to the bands from our campsite. I think Flynn
might have befriended our neighbors Darren and Chris to use their RV's
electrical outlet for his popcorn maker. YES. He brought a popcorn maker.
We had a power inverter with us that was supposed to power it, but it
didn't have enough juice. So we hooked up over at our neighbor's. I think
the drinking might have even began before this point because all I recall
is runnin' around with my digital camera taking pictures. LOL We made
alot of friends. The people in Nebraska rock! Speaking of camera and pictures...
after watching part of Ted Nugent's show late that evening, I ran around
the beer tent with my camera. A LOT of guys were wearing Mardi Gras beads
and of course, in turn the women would flash them for beads. Well there
was this one girl dancing naked on top of a table in the beer tent, so
of course, as funny as I thought it was, I had to get pictures. Thus began
the story of Naked Girl. I'd stop and show people my pictures every once
in a while and they'd be like "Hey, I've seen her, she was naked
last night too!" HAHAHAH... I mean, EVERY SINGLE PERSON that I showed
knew exactly who she was. It was quite funny. I also made friends with
the security guys who monitored the gate to make sure nobody left with
any alcohol. How lame was that? I mean, where were we going to go? Our
tents? To drink more anyway? LOL Oh well, I assisted them in drunkenly
shouting out "No beer or clothes beyond this gate!" They loved
me. They even remembered me the next night. HAHAHA... I did manage to
secure three sets of my own mardi gras beads, but only because I convinced
other chicks that they should flash guys. Sneaky, ain't I? The rest of
the night was spent in a drunken stupor and I couldn't even tell you what
time I managed to drag my ass back into my tent to sleep it off. I love
camping. 7.28 - Clarkston, MI - Dokken, RATT, Warrant, Firehouse & L.A. Guns We get to experience this one this weekend. I plan to have mucho fun. We're heading out a day early to help Scoobz celebrate her birthday. Then I was smart and took Monday off so I wouldn't have to pussy foot around on Sunday night. I'm all prepared. ;) Okay... so, Waking The Dead. The new album by L.A. Guns that is due out on August 20, 2002 that it would seem half the internet has already sneaked their hands on via ebay or other various sources. *sigh* Oh well, what are you gonna do. The album is awesome. The guitar in Don't Look At Me That Way kills! I cannot listen to OK, Let's Roll without tears welling up in my eyes. Phil did an awesome job putting the lyrics together for that song. Waking the Dead all around kicks my ass. I love blaring that tune in my car. Revolution is growing on me. I really love The Ballad. I want to know who it was written about. Frequency is great! Definitely one of my favs... Psychopathic Eyes is one that grew on me too. I find myself singing along with it. I love the lyrics... how true, how true. Hellraisers Ball .. I really should be listening to the album as I type this, you're not gonna get a good feel for the tunes. City of Angels has become a favorite of mine. I'd like to know how they're going to do that one live since Phil sings the lead, as well as the backup vocals. LOL It's an incredible song though. Don't You Cry has been one of my favs since day one... and you know, I just noticed that the original track listing that Tracii posted had a song called It's Alright. But that isn't on the album. And Call of the Wild was left off the promo copy. I don't know if it'll make it to the final album or not. Phil mentioned that he would get me a copy of it. Okay, I gotta run. Hope you enjoyed my reviews. I'll be back with one for this weekend eventually. :) |
