Went to a last minute show on Thursday night. I didn't even know about it until Teresa emailed me on Wednesday. Adler's Appetite played the Turner Hall in Milwaukee, WI. It was Steven Adler (duh, obviously), Chip Z'Nuff (always great to see Chip!), Michael Thomas, Alex Grossi and Sheldon Tarsha. Quite the unlikely coupling of musicians on stage, but they pulled it off. They played the majority of Appetite for Destruction and threw in a couple extras like Mama Kin, Civil War, Knockin' on Heaven's Door and maybe some others that I can't remember right now. Steven is constantly all smiles on stage. We hung around for a little bit because I wanted to say HI to Chip. I haven't seen him since last summer. And I got my pic taken with Steven, but it was on someone else's camera and I don't have it handy right now. The site she uploaded it to requires you to be a member to save pictures, so I don't have it in my possession. It didn't turn out that great anyway, I look like a screwball. LOL I ain't doing a dang thing this weekend except for trying to get some house cleaning done. Obviously I'm getting a lot of that done sitting here at my computer blogging... *looks around innocently* ;) I'll try to post some new pet pix soon. It's been what, a couple weeks since I've had any new ones?

Got together with a bunch of friends last night that I literally haven't seen in like 20 years. We graduated 8th grade together. I recently got back in touch with everyone through Facebook. (I really <3 Facebook! LOL) And we all decided to meet up at a bar in Forest Park. It was a lot of fun catching up with everyone. Surprisingly, I didn't take any pictures. What's up with that?!? I think we're going to plan another get together this summer, when it's warm out and we can actually be outdoors enjoying the weather. ;) I'll be sure to take pictures then. Today I spent the day at Archivers scrapbooking with my mom, Teresa and Kim. I know, I know. How very "rock n roll" of me. Scrapbooking. *grin* It's actually really fun and something I do about once a month. I've done one for my kitties, one for my doggies and now I'm working on one for me and Flynn. Dang, that reminds me, I need to order more pages for it. Nothing else going on really. I'm going to see L.A. Guns on Thursday, March 26th in Middleton, WI. That's the night before we leave for Arkansas to visit with my dad for a few days over Spring Break. And I've got a Skid Row show planned in April at Austin's in Libertyville. |

It's hard to believe that I've had this website for 12 years now. Insane. It's been through some changes over the years, but I've kept it in this format for some time now. It started out as a means to keep Motley Crue fans up to date on what was going on with the band and then it evolved into more of a personal website for me. Unfortunately with the introduction of MySpace, my website became ignored and neglected. However, that is all past. Myspace is no longer of interest to me. I've gone through this entire site, updated everything that possibly needed updating and reuploaded the entire thing to the server. I also took all of my blogs/pictures off Myspace and incorporated them into this website. In the next few weeks, I am going to try to install a blogging software on the server that will allow me to post blogs and allow anyone reading them to leave comments. I think that'll be cool. I always like to know what people have to say about the crap I put on the internet. LOL Anyway, thanks for visiting my website. Be sure to check out all of the previous archives (see link at the bottom of this page) if you're interested in what this site has been through over the past 12 years. Also check out the Concerts section to see the crazy amount of shows I've been to. And lastly, I've posted a Photos link that has pages of all the bands I have met and worked with over the years. The rest of the site pretty much deals with Motley Crue stuff. :) |

We went to the 2009 Chicago Auto Show today! Holy smoke, there were a LOT of cars. Some really cool, some incredibly stupid and some just plain ugly. But I got to see the new 2010 Camaro. I got to sit in it and drool over it. hehe Unfortunately, I still have quite a few years to go before one of those beauties will be in my driveway. Here's some pix I took:

Yesterday I hosted a little "reunion" of sorts at my house for friends that I went to high school with. We had a great time telling stories and catching up on the good 'ol days. Really, none of us have changed THAT much. Except maybe Troy, he doesn't have the "hair" anymore. ;) I can't wait to get together and see everyone again! Here's some pix we took of our little group...

| Happy belated birthday Mom! My mom turned 66 yesterday. Today we took her out to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch. And I bought her a scrapbook kit, photo paper and ink for her photo paper so that she can start scrapbooking with me. :) We had a good time. Hopefully Mom enjoyed her birthday too! | |

I know today is my mom's birthday, but it's also the day that Skid Row was playing at Austin's in Libertyville. Who can pass that up? We'll celebrate her birthday tomorrow. ;) Me and Flynn met up with Teresa and Kim, and my friend Troy from HS and a friend at Austin's. I'm not super fond of this venue and I'll tell you why... it started out last Monday when I stopped by there after work to buy tickets. This was supposed to save me from having to spend extra $$ on Ticket Nazi charges by ordering online. I get there and learn that they only accept cash. They have an ATM on site. Fine. I end up paying $4.75 in ATM charges instead! GRRRR. Then later in the week, Teresa tells me a little more about the venue because she's been there before. Parking is limited at the venue, so they also park people across the street and shuttle them over. Fun. Also, there's a mandatory coat check for two bucks. Whatever. I'll leave my jacket in the car. Flynn and I got there early enough, but ended up having to park across the street and wait for a shuttle anyway. We met up with Troy and his friend inside the bar. It was about 7pm. I wasn't able to get a Coors Light because it was after 7pm and the show was sponsored by Bud. Gross. But somehow we were able to get Heineken. How do you figure that?! We talked for a while and were about to order some food when a staff member came around and told us that we had to go upstairs and trade our tickets in for wristbands. That they would not take our tickets at the door. So we forego the food, and then after 15 minutes of waiting in line, learn that it only applies to VIP ticket holders. Seriously. We hurry back downstairs and ordered some quick food anyway. Scarfed it down and headed into the venue area to secure our spots up front. Scotti's side of course. ;) I didn't take any pictures during the show. I just wanted to enjoy it for a change. After suffering through the opening bands, one of which wasn't really THAT terrible, Skid Row was awesome as always, though their set hasn't changed any, which is a little disappointing. I love more of their songs than the ones they continue to play live, ya know? But they were very entertaining nonetheless. I even asked Scotti for a pick, which he gave to me without issue. Teresa got one that was chewed and spit into her hand. Yum. Not. LOL We didn't stick around after the show. I just wanted to get home and relax. Yeah, go ahead, yuck it up about me being old or something. :)~ I did get a picture with Troy and some guy on stage took this picture of Kim, Teresa, me and Flynn.

So back in November, I migrated from MySpace over to Facebook. I joined Facebook because the Acadia Forum that I belong to started a group there and so I signed up in order to be able to join that group. Not long after joining, I discovered a bunch of my long lost friends were also on Facebook. I'm talking friends from High School and even Jr. High! WTH?! LOL It was awesome to catch up with everyone again, even if it was only online. So then I started digging out old photos and posting those on my Facebook page. Here's some of what I came up with:
And now for some 8th grade pictures! LOL
That's all I've got for now. :)
