I made plans with Tommy to meet him in Rockford, IL before the show because I had taped their Chicago and Milwaukee shows and the vid turned out awesome. So I emailed Tommy and asked him if he would be interested in a copy of it. He set me up with some passes to meet him before the show. I brought a copy of the vid for Nikki too (to be nice) =). When I first got there Nikki and Tommy were still on the bus, but Vince was backstage signing autographs for members of Tommy's family (aunt, cousins, etc...). Vince was wearing a Miami Dolphins jacket, jeans and these furry topped boots that reminded me of Peter Pan. (teehee...) So I bothered him to sign my Swine CD and get a picture. He proceeded to wander aimlessly around and talk to various people. ;) Then Nikki is coming down the hall and Flynn (my b/f) looks down the hall and says "isn't that the guy from Cheap Trick?". I'm like "NO! That's my Nikki!". (teehee... some more) (btw... there were 2 other guys there waiting to drop off some software for Nikki) So Nikki walks up and asks which one of us had something for him. Even though I wasn't there to meet him, I said that actually I did have something for him and handed him the video. He's all like "what's this?" and after I told him what it was, he just asked me a whole bunch of questions about how it was shot and with what type of camera, etc... He thought it was cool of me to bring it because he hadn't seen the show yet. (kind of funny, hasn't seen his own show) Then he had to go meet with those other two guys... =( So, Tommy is walking down the hall now. He is dressed like Gilligan of all people. It was kind of amusing. That man talks in CAPS!! I absolutely love his personality. He was so damn excited to finally get a copy of this video (we had been emailing about it for weeks). He was just like "NO WAY!!! THIS IS SO COOL!!". (<big grin>) He didn't have a lot of time to talk cuz Machine was rushing them around like a madman. =( So anyway, luckily, after the show I got my lil bootie backstage again and had Nikki and Tommy sign my Swine CD too and got them on video tape and took a few pictures. Believe it or not, someone had the nerve to ask Nikki how Mrs. Pamela Lee was doing. He was like "Excuse me? What did you say?" They pretty much shut up after that. ;) Mick was no where to be found this whole time. Good thing I had bumped into him in Chicago to have him sign my Swine CD.
