My Evansville Crüe Story
Okay so it really isn't that much of a story, but it was another Crue encounter.  I was in town with the Diner Junkies on business and the Crue happened to have a gig that night in Evansville, so Tommy gave me passes to meet up with him.  The whole night was a complete mess.  I got into Evansville late and couldn't get to the venue Crue was playing before the show started.  I didn't have tickets to that show, just the passes from Tommy.  So we were not able to get backstage before the show.  I left and came back afterwards.  Security let us hang for a while by the buses until the Motley boys came outside.  Mick lurked out of the backstage door and I briefly stopped him to have him sign my CDs.  Vince had Heidi with him, but I stopped him for an autograph anyway.  :)  I had both my Greatest Hits CDs with me and my friend's CD.  He was gracious and signed all three. Nikki and Tommy both came out separate doors so it was more difficult to get them to stand still.  LOL  Donna ran off to the bus and Nikki told her to "get naked!!"  While he was talking with Hawk, I had him sign my CDs (Nikki "Three of em?!", Me "Well you had 3 different bonus CDs with each!") and managed to get a picture.  I gave Tommy a big hug and thanked him for the passes & apologized that I was late getting there.   That man is way too cool.  Here are the pictures from the whole incident:

For an evening that started out incredibly frustrating and irritating, it didn't turn out so bad.  I got to meet the Crue again and still made it back in time for my Diner Junkies' gig.  :)
