| Actually, the show was in Tinley Park, Illinois and they had another show in East Troy, Wisconsin the next night... so Chicago was kind of an inbetween thang. I ran into Hawk at the Tinley Park show (which kicked major ass by the way) and he invited us to an aftershow party at Excalibur's in Chicago that night. We got there just as the Scorpions were being escorted off their bus and we were able to walk in with them. It was so strange. You know how Hollywood movies are when stars come out of limos and walk up the red carpet into a place? That's what this was like. It was all roped off and people were on the sides taking pictures and asking "Who are you all supposed to be?" Only Randy Castillo from Motley Crue showed up, accompanied by Hawk. Hawk is an absolute sweetheart. Fred Coury was also at Excalibur, so I went over and said "hi" to him too. It was over all a pretty mellow scene. We had a great time that night and even went to a few other clubs with Randy & Hawk. Teresa bumped into Billy Corrigan at one of the bars. I think we stayed out until about 4:30a.m. Randy is a wonderful person and I think he's going to be just fine in the Crue. I swore I had my picture taken with him, but I've searched my entire house and can't find it. Here's a pic of me, Hawk and my friend, Teresai. Hawk will probably kill me when he sees this pic. :) |
